Dear Customers please order your flowers from a flower shop with an address in/or near the city you are having flowers delivered!! Let me tell you why. There are order gatherers!! Sounds like a weird made up thing, I wish. These businesses make their money by being very convenient to find on the web for example, GiftTree and BloomsToday. These companies have large offices of people in some far away city who answer phones or take you order off the computer only to pass them on to a actual florist in the town you wish to have the flowers delivered. |

Busy busy busy!!Valentine's day is both loved and hated by florists. We have so many fun and interesting flowers to create with, and tons of red roses. Days get long but the sore feet pass quickly. Right now my favorite flowers in the store are oncidium orchids, green hydrangeas and deep purple stock. This is one of our bright alternatives to the traditional red and white Valentine's day mix.

If your are looking for a great place to work HyCite must be the place. These employees always seem to have so much fun together and the corporate party looks like a party I wish I could attend! As we (Shannon, Diane and I) were setting up there MC was rehearsing how Star Wars music should start to play when he introduces the company president. Thankfully I already have a great job! Here are some pics of the centerpieces we set-up for them at the Monona Terrace. This is our third event for HyCite and hopefully they have us do the flowers again next year! |

So many brides in just two days! For the first time Blooms participated in the Winter Wedding Planner and Guide Show. It was two days of fun. We met with hundreds of brides, ate incredible cake and had photos taken in the Cheekybooth. Hoping this makes our 2011-2012 wedding season full of creative brides. Love doing new and different things for wedding. These are some of our flower arrangements from the show. If you are looking to book a 2011 wedding give us a call we still have openings on lots of weekends. |

Welcome to Wisconsin Winter, I had to tunnel into the store on Wednesday and it still feels like and igloo inside! Glad this was last week Wednesday and not the week of Valentine's Day.
